What appeared to be a small roof leak with a wet sealing in this loft above a garage in Hammonton NJ ended up causing a significant amount of damage.

The water migrated from the roof to the insulation, drywall and carpet in the loft and continued down to the garage below.  In the garage the insulation and two layers of drywall had to be removed to facilitate the drying of the roof joist and the sub-floor of the loft.
